Reasonable for the price

When booking this hotel to visit our college kid, we understood that for the price we were not getting a 5 star resort. We have reasonable expectations for this price and the location and have stayed in similar priced hotels nearby. The RedLion offered a good price and close proximity to the University. However, it was extremely worn down. Upon entry the room smelled like sewage, we discovered that if we kept the bathroom door closed the smell relented a little. Everything was a little Run down in the room, broken and dirty picture frames and decor, no battery in the smoke alarm, the back door of the room that opened to the courtyard was broken as well as the AC vent. The motor on the front doors key-lock was going out and always took several tries to open, sometimes needing maintenance to come help. With that said I will say we found the bed to be clean and extremely comfortable. The provided breakfast was simple (premade jimmy dean sandwiches, toast and cereal) but sufficient. The location for us was great, a quick 5min drive to the University. I would not stay here again, but for the price it is what is expected.

Night time guy at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. The beds are very soft so if you need a firm mattress I wouldn’t stay there. I need a firm so I woke up with a sore back. Rooms are decent. Nice big tv and AC is cold.

The property was ok. They didn't have coffee or bowls for the cereal, they'd been waiting three days for a truck to bring it??? I think they should have gone to a grocery store. The staff was great, some of the other customers were kind of sketch. I would not stay there again. The staff was great but obviously the management puts the burden on them to tell their guest all the bad news. The management COULD HAVE stepped up and taken care of the coffee and cereal bowls.

No towels when first checked in the room, when asked they only had 2 left and it was a big and small towel that's it like a floor mat size , and when I checked out they took 25 out of my deposit for the towels that I had to ask for anyway , they're was no towels at check in , and I told them and they still took 25 out of my 100$ deposit for they're mistake on not having the room fully ready,no towels and I repeatedly say no towels when I checked in and they took 25$ out of my deposit for them not having the towels in the room in the first place

OK for one night

Room was fine, comfortable and clean. Neighborhood is pretty sketchy. I worried about my car a little. Breakfast was pretty poor. Beard and bagels to toast, juice, cereal. No regular coffee, just decaf. Maybe they have regular coffee other days. Front desk people were very nice and helpful. I asked for a room away from the freeway and they made that happen. I suppose OK for a night, as the price was

La habitacion estaba muy bien y limpia, el desayuno sencillo pero bueno, la cama muy confortable, lo malo es que tiene muy poco estacionamiento y fue incomodo estacionar el auto lejos de la habitacion, por otro lado seria muy bueno si se contara con cafetera y todo lo necesario para tomar cafe en la habitacion
