Five Strikes and I Am Out

Arrived too late 11:30p, room 142, to complain too much that night, but left next morning and requested refund for rest of stay. Negatives: Room floor was filthy, back door to room was left open 6 inches and room smelled like weed with No TV or internet service. towels were stained and did not smell clean, mattress had stains underneath the sheets the window to the courtyard was loud with highway traffic and sounded open and peephole was scratched up and you could not see out. I felt like i was being set up for something nefarious. Then in the morning, no hot water and that was all i could take. Positives: sheets were clean, fridge was clean cold, no bedbugs, breakfast was ok and room was simple.

Fine for the price

Not bad for the price, at the same token, I’d have paid more for a hotel not next to a freeway off-ramp. People enjoy exercising their acceleration muscles on that ramp. Makes for an interesting night.

The front staff was excellent. We have stayed at many Red Lions. Their rooms are very consistent. Not this time. The room was stripped down. Very few towels, no cups, two pillows, one thin blanket, the heat could not be turned up etc. The breakfast left a lot to be desired. Though they did have raisin bread. This hotel was not up to Red Lion standards.

Theres no coffee pot, the electric didn't work in bathroom, you had to be let in your room everytime because door keys did not work! The telephone in room didnt work so you were screwed if you needed in. Morning shift was absolutely the rudest when you tried to complain. Mind you i run a motel and understand customer service very well but dude was an a@#hole! Dont spend your money here GO STAY SOMEWHERE ELSE!!We are not hard to please at all and wewere just so tired from driving we wanted to rest. Good point...no bed bugs !!

I realize that this place was very budget friendly, but we were given a room with only 2 bath towels! The bed was only made once, and towels were never washed! The rooms opened on both sides. Duct tape help the remote control together, and held cabinets closed in the breakfast area. There was no clock or radio in the room. There is a $100.00 security deposit required for each room. my partner and I are in no way undesirables, but that is how we felt here. We've speculated that homeless people are given a room for the night and that's a wonderful thing; our daughter was homeless for a time. But this kind of situation did absolutely nothing to make us comfortable. Why did we stay? Simply that the situation didn't bother my husband so much as me. By the way, we stayed a night at a low-cost motel in Williams, but it was clean, neat, and fine. Don't stay at the Red Lion Inn and Suites unless you are truly desperate is my opinion!

They try, but

Staff were helpful, owner was very nice, but hotel was plagued with problems. At checkin, was told having hot water issues, and upgraded my room to a suite. However, tv in living room would not turn on. Bedroom tv took several tries to bring up menu. Phone in room didn’t work. Power outage in evening. Off and on issues with internet. Free breakfast, but limited.

Don’t stay here!!

Wifi didn’t work during the stay, no towels in the bathroom, no hand soap, dirty and sticky floors, and overall it was a horrible experience.

Very dirty. Do not recommend. Torn and stained bedding, bugs in shower, toilet ran all night, dried white stuff on the side of be end table and desk was about to break. Hotel has the potential to be amazing, but it’s very run down and scary.

The gentleman handling check out around 6am was extremely rude. He ignored that i was standing at the window for a while. When he took my key card i asked for a receipt, he typed in something on the computer, printed a paper out sat it down then walked away. I was waiting for my receipt and he had his headphones on listening to music and dancing. After 5 minutes i just left.
