Darling remodeled hotel near downtown Tucson

Super cute remodeled hotel with a hip, southwest vibe. The cactus garden in the rear is beautiful. There was new roofing being put on when I was there but there was no noise. However, do be aware that I saw numerous roofing nails and screws in the parking area. The television did need work because the folks on the roof had cut something or other. I was disappointed after having driven 600 miles that day and just wanted to veg. Still, I give them five stars.

This is the greatest find! Adorable hotel, super clean, a bar, pool and restaurant. It’s in a weird part of town, but it’s super safe. Love staying here!

I’m never compelled to write reviews but this place deserves some shaming. First off, the location is pretty terrifying, which is probably why they have a restaurant (if you can call it that) on the premises. You can’t go walking around the neighborhood, but you can go downstairs and order something airport priced and just edible. The service is slow, so it’ll give you some time to rethink your life choices. The lobby, restaurant and bar are all in the same small room, and they seem severely understaffed so it takes forever to check in or order any food. They have some sort of breakfast deal which we thankfully didn’t order. We overheard complaints from other patrons that the portions were smaller than the main menu and there were fewer options. I wasn’t going to write a review, but a $6 mini croissant changed my mind. We were trying to avoid having to find a Starbucks for coffee to get back on the road. Unfortunately after paying $17 for two small lattes and what looked like a toy croissant, we had to drive 10 minutes out of the way to find a Starbucks anyway. Thankfully Starbucks was able to provide adult sized portions for a reasonable price. It’s like someone decided to design a cute little hotel and then ran out of money and inspiration for the whole “managing the hotel” part of the deal. At least the rooms are cute. Not so cute you’ll ever want to back, but cute enough to sleep and dream of something better.

Great Trip to Tucson

I had a very enjoyable stay here. My room was clean and comfortable for the price. The pool was clean, the staff were all very friendly and greeted me, and it's a short walk to downtown Tucson from the hotel. Two free water bottles in the minifridge were a nice touch. I would definitely stay here again. If I had to give some suggestions to improve, I would say that the trash cans need to be a bit bigger and the food quality at the hotel bar could improve. The nachos were a little weird.

Stylish, clean, comfortable hotel

Fun decor in rooms and lobby; excellent front desk service. Breakfast was very good as well. Rooms are on the small side, but clean and comfortable and well suited to my needs. The two double-bed room had a small desk, which I made good use of on this trip.
