With some excellent things to take advantage of here, it's easy to understand why 600,000 people call Gold Coast home. From the city centre, Tugun is located 16 kilometres to the southeast. You'll most likely be coming in via Brisbane Airport, so after you've grabbed your bags you'll need to travel 90 kilometres to the southeast.

Tugun is heaven for sightseers. A good portion of the city's best attractions are dotted near this interesting neighbourhood, including Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Snapper Rocks. After taking a look at those, you'll want to continue on to Kirra Beach and Currumbin Beach. For a better perspective of this city as a whole, visit the nearby neighbourhoods of Currumbin and Bilinga.
