The desk clerk at check-in was great! The lobby AC didn't seem to be working, and the lobby was very warm and stuffy. Not so much an issue at check-in but it made breakfast the next morning even less enjoyable. The room was OK. The bed was comfortable, unless you sat on the end of it - then it felt like it lifted up a bit. The bathroom needs improvement. The shower door was very difficult to open. Probably from poor installment. The tile in the bathroom has grout about an 1-inch from the edge. Which, to me, says it was poorly installed and there's little care or oversight from management. The soap holder in the shower is another glaring example of not caring. You can see multiple layers of caulking around the soap holder. They aren't smoothed or even matching. It looks like a toddler did it. It's in a spot that I'm sure breaks repeatedly due to poor placement. At breakfast, the lobby and seating area were warmer than the food. I don't expect 5-star cuisine from a Hampton breakfast, but I do prefer not having to ask myself "Does that look safe?" Having stayed at several Hampton Inns, this one needs a lot of care and attention.

I like that you have to use your key card to get in the building, go up and down in the elevator and get into the pool and gym areas. Free breakfast is also a plus and super helpful.

Did not appreciate the people sleeping on the sidewalk across from the hotel entrance. Nor the lack of included hotel parking. The water in our room #813 trickled both shower and sink to the point we consider it unacceptable. Left us feeling this hotel is not for us and will stay elsewhere next trip. As additional info, the in room coffee maker is substandard and there was no sugar or creamer provided.

Sticky floors, dirty furniture, animal hair on the bedding. Front desk was polite but didn’t tell us anything. Not even our room numbers. Just handed us the door cards with numbers written so badly I tried the wrong room and had to go back to the front desk.
