Old hotel that needs some updating. Wi-Fi is spotty. Our room looked over a roof that had equipment on it. No view at all. We still liked the place for its ambiance and pub

Great place to stay on Valentia Island to explore the region. Staff was outstanding. Breakfast and dinner the one night we ate there were delicious. It was a pleasant experience to stay in a hotel that has been in business for over 150 years.

Hotel Stay

Overall a very good experience. Only complaints would be a bed mattress that was on the stiff side and a very very noisy exhaust fan in the bathroom. The surroundings on the peninsula were off the hook beautiful and don’t leave without driving out to the lighthouse.
