I found this Fairmont a bit disappointing. I’ve stayed at Fairmont downtown Vancouver, fairmont pacific rim and the fairmont in Whistler and experienced the premium service you’d expect from a fairmont. Unfortunately, this one didn’t meet the same standards.

Highly recommended. We received Excellent Customer Service from the main entrance crew to concierge team ( two in the lobby area and on the 9th floor). Room and bathroom was clean. Fantastic view. We enjoyed the breakfast and late night snack buffet recommended to us when we checked-in.

The Fairmont Whistler has some of the best service execution in this part of the world. It's clear that the property was built with budget restraints, and that shows up in room size, bathroom space and condition, flooring, doors and trim and elevator speed and smoothness. The witness room is also too small for the room count.

The hotel was very busy, and when I arrived around 3:30pm my room was not ready, and reception was trying to figure out what was going on. After I finally checked in one of the bed sheet was ripped under the comforter. Did not seem like the room service care about the quality of the service. Called to change the sheet with no response for more than 30mins, and had to call again then finally someone came and changed the ripped sheet. Not good stay experience at all.
