The staff is welcoming and kind, and the neighborhood is nice. Lots of places to eat, and drink. Good value for the money. My one issue is that there was a large freestanding air conditioning unit in the room that I found difficult to program, but this was immediately addressed by a member of the staff who came up and helped. The unit, however, was rather loud and turned on and off throughout the night, which kept me up —although my partner wasn’t bothered — which was a little frustrating because I’m a light sleeper and we had an early flight the next morning. Outside of this I would definitely stay at the Burrard again.
