Terrific hotel

We had a great time! The hotel was superb! The staff was absolutely wonderful. Breakfast was great as was. The surprise afternoon tea was a pleasure. The staff went out of their way to help when my phone cord was damaged in transit. The hotel is in a great location. When I return I To Venice, I will certainly stay there again!

our stay at Hotel Montecarlo!

We like the breakfast and the afternoon snack (from 4 PM to 6 PK they serve coffee, tea, delicious cookies, cakes. The hotel is small but comfortable, it is in a great location, closed to St. Mark's basilica, to good restaurants, to souvenir shops.I would recommend it to my friends.

The property itself was fine - appreciated the breakfast selection and afternoon tea & sweets BUT the 'bell boy' was rude and demanded money for bringing up our bags which we volunteered to happily do ourselves but were TOLD to leave them for him then he refused to leave our room without payment, which was very distressing for 2 single ladies alone in our hotel room and a man that refused to leave. Also the A/C didn't work so we were forced to leave the windows open all night and got eaten alive by mosquitos for 3 nights - we both left covered in bites.

Gem of a hotel steps from San Marco

Wonderful hotel steps from Cathedral San Marco and Doge’s Palace. Excellent breakfast and afternoon tea. Staff are professional, friendly, courteous. Short hike to Rialto bridge. Includes complimentary tour of a Murano glass factory although the ride back drops you off a considerable distance from the hotel. I absolutely recommend this hotel.

Perfect choice to explore Venice. We highly recommend this gem. It is located in the heart of San Marco convenient to all attractions, fine dining and transportation. The room was clean, breakfast plentiful and even offered Afternoon Tea. Exceeded our expectations.
