The lady owner was great and very accommodating. The room was ok it was hot at night and not allowed to put on the A/c till the middle of May? Breakfast was nothing special just bread and juice

Great place to stay. The room was just renovated. The hosts are amazing- very friendly, knowledgeable, ready to share a lot of helpful tips. My husband and I enjoyed our stay, and we will highly recommend the place. It is conveniently located only a few minutes away from the main attractions. What a gem ! Highly recommend a stay here. From booking to arrival, the owner kept in touch to help us reach our destination offering guidance on how to get to the building and the options regarding the types of transport available from the airport. It is situated in the centre with historical sites and restaurant nearby . We understood the hotel to have been built in the 15th Century! On arrival we were greeted warmly by the owner, shown to our room which was as described. Offered written and verbal information about the surrounding area inclusive of recommendations and suggestions. Fresh continental breakfast was served from 0830 to 1000 with a choice of which flavoured croissant and yoghurt. Throughout our stay, we felt confident, safe and supported by the owners who are local, knowledgeable about the area, and history of Venice. We truly felt a part of their extended family - thank you Mario and Esmeralda

This was a great find. The hotel is close to everything and easy to get to from the train. The owners provided us with a walking tour they developed and really good restaurant suggestions. It was a nice surprise and really made the trip special.

Mario and Esmeralda are great hosts. My wife and I stayed in a quadruple room with our two children. The room was very clean and comfortable and the location was excellent. We would definitely recommend it to others, and we will look to stay here again the next time we are in Venice.

Lovely place to stay, lovely hosts, very cosy and in the middle of Venice. The only problem for me was sharing bathroom but it was my choice (low budget and last minute booking as my reservation cancelled by another hotel on another website

We had an amazing stay at this hotel. Mario and Esmeralda treat their guests with such kindness and care. Breakfast was superb and we were treated with a packed one as well, due to the fact that we checked out early. We received a guide to make the most of Venice, including sone beautiful restaurants. We had such a memorable trip and we would highly recommend staying here. Thank you Mario and Esmeralda!

My family of four thoroughly enjoyed our 2 night stay here. Mario was a great host and helped by providing excellent recommendations for restaurants nearby and a suggested itinerary that explored some less tread routes. Nothing was too much trouble, for example accommodating a later check out time. The accomodation itself feels authentic and well located. Breakfast was lovely too. Would not hesitate to rebook.

It was a nice place. The owners were helpful and kind. It's in a great place close to rialto bridge. The only issue was the breakfast which there was mainly pastry, jams, yogurt! There was no protein, eggs or sausages and no cheese, not even fruits!! If you have diabetes you can't eat anything or you may get diabetes if you don't!

Perfect location. Close to everything but still quiet and peaceful. Our host Mario and his wife are amazing. If you’re wondering how to get here from the airport take the orange line Alilaguna to San Stae. It’s about a 5 minute walk to the hotel.

Our stay at Residenza degli Angeli was fantastic. I truly appreciated how cozy the rooms were, and how friendly both Esmeralda and Mario were throughout the stay. We were provided with a filling breakfast every morning, and we even got some good tips on restaurants and sights to visit during our stay. I would highly recommend this property for others, and I would very much enjoy coming back in the future.

We loved our stay at Mario and Esmeralda’s BB. The room was nicely equipped. Comfortable beds and bedding. They served delicious pastries in the morning. They offered advice on restaurants and where to go and how to get tickets. I hope we get to stay with them again in the future.
