At first impression the area where the hotel is located didn’t look the best, but overall was very safe, relatively quiet and convenient. The recently remodeled room is nicely decorated, spacious and comfortable. The property still being renovated outside, but that wasn’t an issue for us. We had a good night sleep on the bed which was very comfortable the couple of nights we stayed. Things that I would suggest are replacing the duvet covers, which were clean, but very stained and paying a little more attention to the cleanliness of the room. Overall, the room appeared clean, but upon a more detailed inspection there were some stains on the floor, and the bathroom shower especially, needs more attention and a good scrub, since it had mold growing in corners and the grooves of it’s tiled floor. I would stay here again if my suggestions are implemented, as the rooms offer good value for the price.

Room and bathroom was larger than expected. Dislike: No locks on bathroom door, no microwave, 1 deadbolt lock on door, can hear street noise. Like: clean, refrigerator, bright lights, close to Ventura Harbor.

This was just a quick overnight, but I was impressed with the design of the room and the quality of the toiletries. The only drawback was the small refrigerator making random noises.

The property is currently on renovation and was appreciative how upfront they were about it. It was not a bother at all though I did not stay during the day time where they said there will be renovation workers on site. Overall, this property is an excellent value. It is renovated, spacious and the parking, they pretty much have parking space right in front of the room. This is close to the Pier just few minutes away and it is in a residential neighborhood and was quite. The room was clean and since I was traveling solo, the room was still spacious with small refrigerator, a seat, table and chair for eating and a toilet/shower. The check in was easy. Check out was easy. There is a $100 security deposit which I don't remember if it was mentioned in Expedia. Normally, most hotels would just asked for credit card in case of incidentals but this one they charge the $100 and mine took a week to see the credit back to my account. Overall, I had a wonderful overnight stay. For the value and convenience, I would not hesitate to book again. I would be very interested how much this property would improve after their renovation. For a long weekend, the price of the room was reasonable and rate this good value. Enjoy and happy travels.

I was charged a $100 deposit at check in. We left early the next morning so we used the black box outside of the office to drop our key off. We’re hopeful the deposit will be credited back. We left with no assurances of this happening, fingers crossed.
