Their office is not staffed 24/7 as stated. Their English is rough but very kind people and professional. The building is old but it's close to the beach. Pool not working. Had to pay $20 for a late check out.

The AC was not plugged in so it felt stuffy in the room. The sink in the bathroom did not have running water. The shower would not drain. The toilet was clogging up. Room dirty and old furniture.

The lady at the front counter is the most horrible person she is so rude she tried to yell at my husband and me , I understand it’s not the best place but for her to be rude and disrespectful is not ever okay . I will never give this place a chance. I don’t recommend anyone to stay here at all. She got more upset when we ask if we can get a different room because the first one she gave us had a big gap on the door and it smelled a lot like cigarettes and the bed sheets where dirty as well and the bed it had all kinds of stains on it . I will never recommend anyone to stay at this location.

Room door had been previously bashed in and not repaired properly! The door would not lock from the inside without the key. Room was dirty, and it felt totally unsafe to stay here! I left and found another place to stay! They refused to refund the 1 night I paid for!

You need to take this property off your list. It’s a slum hole. Had to go to a different hotel cannot stay there. It was disgusting. Had to still pay for one night.

Bedbugs.

The place looked clean bit my friend and i ended getting bit by bedbugs. We told the property manager but she said i was lying. I showed her the bites on my arm and neck and she said rhey spray every day, which isnt true.

The lady at check out does have a chip on her shoulder. She did give me a room that had a working tv due to the one I was assigned not working. The room was very old and tattered offering the bare minimum. I didn’t spend very much time in the room due to it being depressing. Went out and explored what Ventura had to offer on a Monday, came back and slept for the night, on top of my sleeping bag. Heard the bed bugs were bad. If you want a budget place to sleep near downtown it could be good. But if you’re planning on a place to decompress, I’d suggest looking elsewhere.
