Let people know how big the pool is. That mosquito will definitely get you and will be around the room over you're head wile sleeping also they will be no meat for breakfast for us that like the meat. One off the owner was complaining that all the coffe was gone and wasn't able to explain why it was gone. Also complaining on how many paper plates we are using when we was getting breakfast the serving area was dirty the eggs was cold from the fridge the sugar was stuck to the package as if they were wet. No gloves when touching the bread. Took the wet towels to the office to get clean to take a shower before we head out at 7am was told that someone comes to do that they finally come at 11am so we had a late late start and missed the taxi. The mosquito was bad bad bad. Let people know. My daughter got yelled at because she got done with the bananas pill away. Unbelievable next morning we was afraid to go get breakfast. As Penny yells if we do things the way she don't like it done. Won't return.

Penny and Kelly are outstanding at keeping this hotel a wonderful treasure! Service was prompt and our room was available as soon as we landed. Pastries, fruits, boiled eggs, and coffee for breakfast and a great night's sleep on very comfortable beds. We wished we could have stayed longer!

Welcoming host, great property

Excellent hosts with frequent communication and guidance at every stage. Perfect setting with a country side feel having trees, chickens, horses. I suggest to rent the utv at this island to make your vacation comfortable.

Our stay at SeaGate Hotel was a highlight of our trip! The host was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming, offering great tips on local spots and must-see areas that really enhanced our experience. The location is perfect—just a short commute to the ferry and surrounded by beautiful scenery. We especially loved the unique decorations and charm of the hotel. It had such a warm, inviting feel that made us feel right at home. I absolutely plan on coming back to the area, and when I do, SeaGate will be my first choice to stay. Highly recommend!

Lovely hotel on a hill

This hotel as at the top of a hill, so be prepared for an incline, but with that comes great views. The owners are friendly and full of information if you need any recommendations. The room had everything I needed and the bed was comfortable. I would highly recommend this hotel for your stay.

5/5 Stars – A Perfect Stay at Sea Gate Hotel! From the moment we arrived at the Sea Gate Hotel, we were warmly welcomed and felt right at home. The standout of our stay was Kelly at the front —she was incredibly friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. She greeted us with a bright smile, gave us some great local tips, and made check-in feel effortless. It’s rare to find someone who clearly loves what they do, and Kelly truly set the tone for the rest of our stay. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and had a relaxed, coastal vibe that matched the area perfectly. Our room came with a beautiful view that we enjoyed every morning with coffee on the balcony. Housekeeping did a great job , and we really appreciated the little touches like the complimentary light breakfast. We wish, we could stay for couple of more days and explore other beaches too.

Our room was on the third floor. The view was excellent, management was extremely friendly. As a nature lover, I enjoyed every moment. The roosters, the iguanas, the breeze, just beautiful.

10/10 experience. The owners were so nice and so helpful! The hotel is within walking distance from many things however we rented a Jeep to visit other areas of the island. The hotel offers horseback riding for a fee. It was an amazing experience to ride horses along the beach and around the island. They serve a light breakfast (free) every morning which includes hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, etc. The A/C worked really well in our room. The views from our room were breathtaking! There are iguanas, chickens, and horses on the property. We used a noise machine every night to keep the roosters from disrupting our sleep. We will be back for another visit because we loved it so much here!
