Great stay!

Great place for a last minute stay. Nothing at all to fault and would definitely look to stay again. Staff were so friendly and the pool was very relaxed with no fight for sun loungers!

The hotel and staff were amazing. Myself and my wife celebrated our wedding anniversary on our arrival date and the hotel very kindly had a lovely gift in our room for us. The facilities were fantastic, clean and comfortable. We decided to go half board for our stay and the choice's both at breakfast and dinner could not be faulted. Lovely fresh and very well presented food. The staff at the hotel are incredible. Polite, professional and efficient. Nothing was a problem for them. The hotel is within walking distance of the marina and while passing traffic can be heard around the pool area during the day,at night the hotel is quiet and peaceful and noise was never an issue. We were disappointed to hear that the hotel is to temporarily close at the end of the season for a full renovation as we particularly loved the traditional character of the place. We hope it doesn't change the ambience of the place too much Noel

Awful

This is not a good hotel. Absolutely not 4 stars. 1 - The wi fi was so slow it was virtually un-useable. . 2 - The beds were VERY uncomfortable. Gave us back pains. 3 - The hotel has a policy of putting water into the shower gel dispensers when half full. Then it ran out and we had to ask twice for it to be re-filled. Felipe from reception finally brought us some and angrily handed it over. Appalling. 4 - They give you cocktails with zero alcohol. Total scam. 5 - The shower was rubbish with little power 6 - There is a tiny car park, which is ALWAYS full. You have to park in other venues car parks. 7 - Poor air con 8 - We could hear the lifts going up and down all night. We had to use ear plugs to sleep. 9 - Only 6 umbrellas for approx sun loungers by the pool - but this is due to lack of space 10 - TV remote controller covered in sticky grime that we could not clean off. Most reception staff were nice but a couple were awful (Filipe) . The hotel is old and outdated. The rooms look tired and in need of a revamp. There are much better hotels in the area. We won't be coming back here.
