Terrible Experience – Would Never Return
I had one of the worst hotel experiences of my life here. I booked and paid for an ocean view room with a king bed, kitchen, and sofa couch. Instead, I was given a standard double bed room with none of the amenities I reserved. When I brought it up, the staff told me I’d be moved to the correct room the next day — so I agreed to wait.
The next day, they completely changed their story and said I wouldn’t be moved, but they would refund me $839 for the downgrade. I accepted the refund, but the issues didn’t stop there.
Housekeeping never came. I had to repeatedly ask both the front desk and the cleaning staff to service the room. On the third day, they finally changed the bed sheets — but never vacuumed or actually cleaned the space.
At that point, we decided to cut our stay short due to the constant problems. When I went to check out and confirm the refund, I was told by the front desk that many of their staff are new hires and had given me incorrect information, and that I now had to contact Expedia myself.
It felt like my original room was resold at a higher rate and I was fed excuses to cover it up. I was misled, dismissed, and left with no support. How am I supposed to know who is a new hire and who actually knows what they’re doing?
This hotel was unprofessional, disorganized, and dishonest from start to finish. I do not recommend staying here.
