The management of this hotel is rude, unpleasant, and, actually, unhospitable. Even though i had notified them through Hotels.com at 1030 pm, the office was closed when i got there and hotels.com's virtual assistant was of no help whatsoever. I had a place to sleep that night only because of the kndness of a stranger Who happened to come by the railroad station and saw me standing there shortly after i arrived by train from Melbourne.parkview is a dump and hotels.com failed when needed .them. Our stay at Parkview was excellent. Room was quiet, spotless with pleasant park outlook. Small kitchenette was great with utensils and crockery for breakfast or a meal. A real sink with cleaning supplies was useful for two night stay. Parkview is very close to city area and walking distance to most eateries and shops. Our short stay in Wangaratta at Parkview was excellent.
