Called to confirm room was ready and it was. Drive 10 min over to the hotel and the “system” was down. We waited about a half hour before the hotel staff walked us up to enter the room. The cleaning staff was still working so we waited in the hallway for about 10 min. None of the eating places in the hotel or the bar weee open so we could not even go get a bite to eat while we waited. Was told system would be up around 7. Continually tried my digital key while we were at an event to no avail. When we got back about 9:30 we waited in li e for about 15 minutes to get key cards. Staff was great but they were put in a terrible situation by the hotel. Not a great idea to keep all the amenities closed until 4:30-5 when you have a lobby full of people who really can’t do anything else.

Getting to this property was not easy. However, that is no fault of the hotel's. The hotel itself was great! The staff was friendly, the room was spacious and clean, and the common areas were terrific. I enjoyed my stay, and should I find myself in Arlington again, I will check for availabilities at Double Tree.
