The room size is wonderful. Spacious and clean. Our room was 301 and we experienced loud bangs starting at 5:30am. Not sure if we were below a staff laundry or prep area but the noise was loud enough to wake us up each morning. We also heard that noise in the evenings.

The cleaning person threw clean towels on the floor in the shower, which I find disgusting since there was a place to put the towels high and clean. The kitchen dishes were dirty with food stuck on spoons and forks. The dishes that were there were in the same place, she didn't take the time to wash anything. My room was 912 and yesterday, January 21st, was the last day we were there. I pay a lot for this room for the bad cleaning person.

Really walkable to the National Mall and the Smithonians.10 minute walk to Safeway grocery store, a McDonalds and a train station. This hotel is right on a freeway and the noise was constant 24/7. We had a white noise machine with us so we managed ok, but if you stay here be aware of this! Room was spacious, daily service, friendly staff. Free breakfast each morning was great. Restaurant has a minimal but adequate menu for dinner. We would stay here again but would definitely ask for a room on the inside away from the freeway noise.

No bath towels!

I got out of my late night shower to find there were no bath towels - just three hand towels about 1’x2’ each and three facecloths and a bath mat. Inconvenient, decided to make do, a bit annoying considering the high occupancy rate was 4x normal. The snack shop restaurant was crazy busy for major event. Gym was great. The upper restaurant closed for winter. Close to major things. Good breakfast.

This property staff as well as facilities were very clean, friendly, and comfortable. The breakfast bar in the morning was good. Definitely a good spot to be close to the main city and be able to get quickly to the airport. Thank you for a great stay!!!
