Resort fees should have resulted in a credit that was never applied. When I tried to call, it is almost impossible to reach a person in accounting. Marriott Bonvoy phone and web site make it very difficult to get resolved. There should be an easy way to reach a person.

Check in desk was often overwhelmed with a long queue. Internet was not free unless member of some club. That was the first time I’ve stayed anywhere without free basic internet for many years (including far more high-end hotels than this one). It’s unacceptable. It’s not the cost, it’s the greedy principle. You don’t charge for tap water, so don’t charge for internet. The bath/shower couldn’t drain water as fast as the shower provided it, so that the tub gradually filled during a shower. Seems like a simple plumbing issue that needs sorting out. Seems like the hotel spends money on a glamorous huge lobby but neglects several things more important to the traveller. On the up side, the staff were friendly and capable.
