I absolutely loved my stay at the D.C. Moxy!! The staff was amazing, the atmosphere and general vibe was uplifting. The room was just what I was expecting, cozy/contemporary and clean. It was truly the staff who made this an ultimate best place I've stayed in a long time. Huge thank you to the staff, I cannot reiterate enough how awesome they were!

When I got to my room it smelled heavily of cigarettes and the staff knew this because they had left the windows open in December to try and air it out. The size of the room was fine for one person- I cannot imagine more than one or even a family maneuvering the space. By the end of my stay the hot water was barely working and stayed at just above lukewarm. Room did not get cleaned everyday. Front staff were hit or miss on friendliness. Trying to check in I had to actively try and wrangle attention from staff who were hanging out at the back of the bar. I liked that I had a corner room with lots of natural light but looked out to a dumpster and neighbors windows. Good location.

1. The tiles on the floor in the shower need to be fixed. 2. They should check the room temperature in the room. The air-conditioning was on and I was exhausted and was not able to change it to heat. I suffered all night long as I was freezing. 3. I was having problem reaching my room because I was not told about uding the door key on a gadget in the elevator to operate it
