Each and every staff number was great. Better than average breakfast. 24 hour coffee The shower had the best water pressure. I’m not joking. Very convenient to food, gas, the highway. Totally recommend

Very clean room, also we somehow got a really large room for practically nothing. Also great to have Bob Evans basically in the parking lot. EV chargers worked great (though lots of non EVs were parked in the spots).

The staff here was amazing so I hate to give a be star but the bedding was dirty and torn. I reported it immediately and showed photos. Nothing was done. I went online as they offer a guarantee and they kept asking more and more information. They didn’t wish to solve the problem. I doubt bedding had been changed from previous guest. Comforter had holes from some one I guess smoking and burning a hole and sand inside bed at bottom.
This is one side of the bed and the comforter has holes and felt itchy and like it was plastic
Another side of the bed - this comforter should have been tossed and never used on guests. Sheets were dirty also - but hard to photograph.

I checked the on-site breakfast and decided to go have breakfast at Bob Evans instead, across the parking lot. That should be pretty self-explanatory. On Sunday, November 9, around 06:45AM, I wanted to get two 16oz bottles of plain water. Plain water was not available for sale at any of the vending machines. Only sugary sodas. So I asked the man at Reception where I could get two bottles of water. His answer was: "You should have asked for water when you first checked in." How's that for a friendly morning greeting? After that, he continued: "If we gave every guest two free bottles of water, Marriott would go bankrupt." For starters, I am quite certain that Marriott can afford the cost of two 16oz bottles of water - estimated to be around 50 cents - for its guests. Maybe Motel 6 can't. I'll let the readers of this review evaluate the attitude, professionalism and helpfulness of this Marriott employee. I provided the exact date and time of this verbal exchange. There is a reason for that.

Upon checking in, I was told I could not pay CASH for my room. The manager was very rude when I replied that cash is legal tender and accused me of raising my voice and she would have me thrown out!!! Apparently the Fairfield Hotels have had the policy of not accepting cash for about 5 years. This policy should be clearly stated in their posting on Expedia as I could not find any evidence there. Having travelled for the previous 5 weeks around Ireland and the U.S., I was never refused paying cash by the hotels where I stayed and one was also a Fairfield. I called the Fairfield here in Mississauga where I live and the young lady was very helpful but confirmed her chain of Fairfield hotels do not accept cash! She was very understanding and said the manager in Corning NY should not have been so rude and should have accepted cash for just this one time with the warning to use a plastic card next time!!!
