Staff was absolutely excellent but the location is not the safest part of downtown with very little walkability to anything. It’s an older hotel and really if you picked the hotel and staff up and moved it a couple blocks east it would be great. Location is just tough for families.

The bed felt like sleeping on a cloud, and the amenities were thoughtfully arranged. I especially appreciated the quiet atmosphere — perfect for relaxing after a long day. Hotel was clean, typical hotel breakfast. The front desk was terrible though. The woman at the counter was rude and didn’t seem to understand how the phone system worked at the hotel.

Breakfast was a nice addition and they seemed to keep it fully stocked during the breakfast hours. You will find a variety of items to pick from including eggs and either sausage or bacon. Staff was friendly and had no problems with check-in or check-out. Beds were comfortable and clean from what we could tell.

Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast could have had better healthy options. Was average for all American hotel chains we have stayed in. Biggest area of opportunity is the shower… Ceiling paint was peeling, and the water pressure from the showerhead wasn’t great.
