I actually really liked this hotel. It wasn't fancy, it was clean and a bit dated. The Tavern in the hotel is amazing and had the best french fries I've ever had, plus it felt like a throw back in time - loved the vibe. I felt safe inside the hotel, the lounge/casino in the hotel was a bit questionable and there was some shady people outside at times. Woudn't leave anything in my vehicle there or go walking at night/evening. Daytime it was fine. Neighbourhood across the street was clean and well-maintained, not sure about behind the hotel. I would 100% stay here again with our hockey team - pool was fun for them and was very close to the rink and service was great!
