Excellent customer service hospitality 5stars amenities excellent casitas are comfortable AC worker well food options were plentiful Kharea, Heidi, sher front desk staff very helpful navigating reservations and requests all staff was pleasant at all times my only issue was need more lighting at night and at entrance of resort would definitely stay again

Matachica is a great property. The staff is amazing. Very attentive and friendly. You truly have a luxury experience here why also maintaining the feeling you are on an island. The food is great and there isn’t a bad view on the property. Everything is a short walk to the beach which is amazing. Short drive to San Pedro if you want to experience what the locals have to offer. Will definitely be coming back.

Overall I had a good experience at this property. There were a few hiccups in my stay, but management went above and beyond to accommodate me. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. I had an allergic reaction to the seagrass which is impacted the most countries. They had a staff member drive me to the hospital, wait for me and switch my room.

Beautiful resort , more of an island vibe , northern part of the island so further away from a lot of the hustle and bustle but closer to secret beach . BRING BUG SPRAY ! they will get you lol although they do provide that as well
