Stayed for 6 nights. Pros: Walkable, lots to do in terms of activities, staff was polite and helpful, multiple areas to eat/drink, close to xcaret park. Tons of animal sightings, place is physically beautiful. You could rent sports equipment, snorkel, go to the spa ($$), participate in dance lessons, workouts, etc. Cons: The shower was finicky, the room smelled musty until we aired it out, some places only open occasionally or closed early. We didn't get a welcome tour (maybe because we arrived too late? 7pm?) so there was some exploring we had to do to find out where to go/what was open. Food was consistent at all buffets, with small variability. It wasn't top tier but there was always something to eat. When you book you get some options to book vouchers for the a la carte restaurants. We chose El Pescador (2/5) and La Hacienda (4/5). Pretty sure my travel buddy got food poisoning from El Pescador, and it was the poorest service we received. La Hacienda was friendly and the food was nice. Service was great. I would 100% come here again. :)

This hotel is nice, everyone is very friendly. I was only there for 3 days. I wanted to make a reservation for the a la carte restaurants and they were all already booked. I think they should have more availability. Also, the 2 buffets that have all the hot food are practically cold. I didn't like that at all. —- Este hotel es bonito, todos son muy amables. Solo estuve allí tres días. Quería reservar en los restaurantes a la carta y ya estaban todos llenos. Creo que deberían tener más disponibilidad. Además, los dos buffets con comida caliente están prácticamente fríos. No me gustó nada.

Family friendly property with a relaxed feel. Animals freely roaming had a safari vibe. The hotel is spacious and everything is spread out so we utilized the shuttle a lot. It takes you all around the property to different restaurants and the beach. The food was okay. We stayed in the Royal section which had private pools and restaurants but that's about it. I think I would pass on that experience my next go round. Avoid the people pushing the time share presentation it's a waste of time.

Easy access to Xcaret park , clean but we had a few issues with our room , door had bad hinges and safe had to be fixed, but overall not many complaints. We might go again someday

All staff are very friendly and dining options are very limited and not restricted, our little fridge always filled up with drinks all complimentary they allowed us to take some food to the room, we only eat one meal as much as possible and 2 snacks in between. We will come back next year to enjoy the beautiful beaches they have.

We visited for my birthday and our anniversary. The facilities were amazing and the service was top tier. Food was great. There was so many options. My favorite was the Beach Club and the snack bar above the swim up bar. Lots of options. The entertainment was great as well with a sports bar and a club.
