Staff were really nice , friendly and helpful.
The meal and breakfast were good and the hotel downstairs is very nice but the rest of hotel where rooms are looks abit tired and dated and unfortunately found the beds a little uncomfortable.
Excellent value for money. Lovely countryside setting and no frills, clean and tidy hotel. Set in well maintained grounds. Ample on site parking. Our second stay here whilst meeting friends in York.
We had to leave before breakfast due to a family emergency so did not experience the breakfast sadly.
Will certainly use Burn Hall again.
Only stayed one night so can’t really give a review but I can say that the staff were very nice. Breakfast was excellent .

Lovely staff and the breakfast was nice. The car park was very full as the distance we had to travel to get to the hotel meant we arrived late, this meant quite a walk to reception with our luggage. Our room was adequate and clean but the bathroom had a strange smell which was there throughout our stay. The hotel was well placed to visit Harrogate, York and surrounding areas.
Nice setting if you ignore the industrial estate behind it but shame the hotel feels a bit like an old care home - room was basic and shower poor - lacked enough hot water and temperature fluctuated constantly. Room felt dark due to the low energy lightbulbs used - these gave a murky feel to the room and there are better low energy bulbs now available which at least don't make it feel like the room is foggy.
We were room only and used as a base to sleep - so fine for this purpose - but expensive enough for what it is and do think a decent shower is a essential for any hotel. Staff were pleasant and no issues here.
It was a very nice, clean hotel, staff were very polite. The room was on the ground floor and was very quiet. Room was very clean. Lovely grounds to walk around. Enjoyed our stay very much and would stay there again.
BED BUGS! - STINKING BATHROOM - Old dilapidated rooms with no fridge. Stupidly hot in summer with poor ventilation. Overall felt very unclean. Not worth the cost per night.
Breakfast included is a plus but average
Lovely hotel in a beautiful location with nice walks around. Staff friendly rooms were clean and the food was decent. Only recommendations I would make are I think they could do a lot more with the outside area (a Peroni bar or a pizza / bbq area perhaps), also the standard rooms could do with a mini bar and air conditioning.
