Just finished a one week stay at coba. Overall experience was good. Staff were friendly for the most part, food was good, and drinks were great. Rooms are becoming a little dated, and beach was unfortunately pretty rocky but overall nothing that made the trip not enjoyable. I do want to say thank you to Ernesto at the sports bar. He made my friends and I’s trip so so fun. Took care of us, was very attentive, and just made us feel very welcomed. Overall, good stay and would recommend for someone who wants to save a little and doesn’t need all the bells and whistles of a luxury resort.

First and foremost, I didn’t get any notification regarding what had happened to the main lobby and that it was closed and under construction. There was a small lobby area assigned for check ins, which was crowded and the staff was slow and unwilling to make any accommodations. They all seem “money hungry”, they just want to rip people off. The room was old and needs serious upgrades. It smelled like humidity, the AC wouldn’t cool down the room enough, all the nights we spent were just miserable and hot. The shower kept spilling water outside as the glass isn’t properly

When we first arrived there and they gave her a room away and myself, and my friend were stuck sharing one bed. The AC was broken in our room. We asked multiple times for them to come fix it and they said it’s good. It’s good, but it never got fixed. The hotel lobby caught on fire we lost all our el carte dinner, and they did nothing to fix it. They cut off the service and the Wi-Fi. They also turned off all the power of the lights included for the aftermath of the fire, which made it extremely unsafe two girls to walk in the dark all the way back to their hotel from the other hotel. Due to the fire, they said that they would have more trams going back-and-forth. They did not at times we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes per tram to just go to another hotel. On our first night, we did get a fancy dinner before the fire happens and the staff was terrible. We got dress coated for wearing a long black sleeve shirt and black pants nothing showing and we explain to them. It was a medical condition I had to wear long sleeves and long pants at dinner and they argued with us for multiple times and then they finally let us eat and then they talk about us the entire dinner and we’re pointing and staring the entire time we’re trying to have a nice dinner and eat our food. This was by far the worst holiday I have ever been on and it was such a waste of money, and I will never travel again to Bahía coba

Absolutely beautiful property all around. Tulum was my favorite part of the resort. I love that you can go to all of the resorts on campus, they all have a different vibe . Pending on what you are in the mood for you will find something nice. They absolutely need a better shuttle system as the campus is enormous and incredibly hot. They could definitely relax about the swimsuit bit (@ an all inclusive resort swimwear is appropriate for any and all activities. My opinion. ) . As far as the food goes here’s where it gets tricky. I hated most of it tbh. The best food is at the adults only locations (more oysters less chicken fingers blech) but even that wasn’t really satisfying. Most days I was slightly nauseous and couldn’t eat very much. I also have a slightly sensitive stomach . The food could still be a hell of a lot better. However all in all the strong drinks, dancing at the hacienda, and meeting friends like I was in white lotus ended up being the best part of the trip. If you’re looking to relax w gorgeous scenery and fun activities go here. One of my favorite things that they do is when they do outdoor dancing classes both by and in the pool. As a professionally trained dancer I was really shaking that thing! All in all a fabulous experience .

This hotel was nothing it compared to the pictures and room . The rooms smelled of mold and mildew, the air conditioning did not work properly, the food was either luke warm or cold( not enough options unfortunately) Every single restaurant was booked, so you’re forced to eat in the buffet . The lighting was poor at night , walking the paths to get to where you needed to go was a safety hazard.
