At the beginning of my stay everything was good. Staff was friendly, Jose at the pool bar, Manuel and his team at the buffet were excellent. I got a message and it was really good. Now at the end of my stay I got really sick ( throwing up, chills, I couldn’t leave my room) and when contact the “doctor” in the resort he stray told me I can’t do nothing for you, I have no medications to give you. My partner went to reception to ask if anybody could take him to OXO (convenience store) inside the one of the resort area to try to get me something and they told him no because at that time they didn’t have any driver for the golf cart and show him where the store was so he could walk (20 mins each way if not more). Then he saw a bellhop employee standing on the side and ask him, can you please take me to the store and he say NO. My partner was so desperate to get me something that he told the employee, I will pay you to take me, employee right away say ok I take you. You staying in all inclusive resort and is very disappointed that the doctor don’t have nothing to help you and where you have to pay for transportation just to try to get better.

Staff are great and the property has beautiful beaches with lots of access and bars. Pools are clean and there are lots of them. Lots of activities and different shows everyday and every night. Buffets are good with lots of selection and the Al a carte restaurants are really good with great service.

Ws absolutely love having access ro the different resorts and their amenities. The staff was extramely friendly and helpful. We wish their was emegebcy golfcar at night as we had an emergency after hours and had to walk to the clinic.

I really loved that this property was family friendly. There were a lot of things that my family and I really enjoyed such as the kids center, the food, and the entertainment. There were also a few things that could be better. We could only make reservations for 3 nights out of our 7 night trip and they weren’t really the restaurants we wanted to eat at because the places we wanted to eat at were booked. We booked all of our reservations the day we arrived but all of the dinners were at the end of our stay. Luckily the buffet was good and we were able to eat good food. It just would have been nice to try all of the restaurants. Next we stayed in villa 2 and there were ants! We would kill them and more would show up they were even getting into our clothes. And also our room was so damp. Even clothes that we didn’t wear/ clothes that stayed in our suitcases had this damp feeling to them. Lastly the kids water park the water was FREEZING! And the slide drop offs were pretty high off the ground so I constantly saw kids getting scratches. My kids only wanted to play there once because the preferred the beach and pool areas. Over all the experience was good. My kids really enjoyed their first stay at a resort and for the price, scenery, and entertainment, I’d go again.

I visited in 2021. It wasuch better service. We had an A la carte every night. But this time only 4 diners. The iguana bar was not staffed at all. It was the pool closest to our room and some days there was not even any water to drink. We are happy we spent the extra money to get the yellow bracelet. We spent more time at akumal than we did at coba because the service was not as good. The room service was good but there was always a 2-3 day delay. We asked for extra pillows or to refill the fridge with a diet coke and it took several days. Our roof leaked after it rained. The standard was not as high as 2021 when we came last time to Bahia Principe.

The entertainment team (Antonio and Lizbeth particularly) at grand Coba kept us engaged over Christmas and New year with all the activities. The house keeping service provided by Samuel was outstanding. Food at the buffets and all restaurants were excellent. We were totally looked after by all of the attentive staff, and Jose kept the glasses filled. Thoroughly recommend the resort for multigenerational holidays, keeping everyone from teen boys to the golden oldies happy for 2 weeks.

there is no room service and no pool service or beach service . Place smells like mildew and sticks to your clothes . No vip service just allowed to go from hotel to hotel. Staff was great but resort was not. Very disappointed
