The place itself has a charming feel to it, but is on a very busy road and an area that does not feel conducive to walking. It's within a few minutes drive of the Rio Grande River and parks along there which is nice. The staff at check-in didn't know the process (I guess it was the maintenance person filling in) and the check-out person was on a personal call and didn't even listen to my comments that the TV was not working in my room AND the phone in the room is not connected so I could not contact the front desk for help. He did not seem to care at all. The road next to the hotel is VERY LOUD almost all night with tricked-out cars cruising and racing. The AC unit is very loud as well so it did not make for a restful night, although the bed and room was comfortable enough. The morning breakfast was bare-bones with only bananas for fruit and no dairy alternatives for the coffee or tea. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Nice people but hotel is right on main street. Cars racing around all night keep waking us up. Room was the biggest of all places I stayed on a week-long trip and had the best breakfast too. Pool was indoors & very small....occupied by kids so didn't want to get in.

Updated rooms and friendly owners / staff. Location could be better – lots of folks roaming the sidewalks – but the owners have gone to great lengths to make sure that the property itself feels safe, with multiple security cameras and a well-lit parking lot. Rooms are well-insulated from road noise, A/C is fantastic, and make-your-own waffles for breakfast were a nice touch.

A decent place to stay for a night or two. We spent 4 nights there and it was okay as all we did was sleep there. My family in the area were a bit alarmed that we were staying there, indicating it was not a good area bit we didn't feel unsafe at any time. It is located on a main road but we weren't bothered by traffic noise. We had a blanket that was ragged on the edges and had moth holes and a cigarette burn in it. My top sheet was not tucked in at all, just lined up with the bottom of the mattress so I had to fix that so my feet didn't stick out. The hair dryer handle was busted so you could see the innards but it worked. Breakfast was good with a variety of options but very little for protein; some eggs would have been good. There is a Starbucks about 2 blocks away so we picked up some of their egg bites to add to our breakfasts. We were told there is no daily service and to just let the housekeepers know if we needed towels or anything. We left early in the mornings and they weren't there yet so left a note on the door to clean and refresh. The note was still there when we got back late at night and nothing had been done. Overall, it was okay for the price and a good place to sleep.

The room itself was just a regular motel room. Clean and comfortable. The young lady working the desk was really sweet. I appreciated how friendly and relatable she was--even when we didn't get there until almost 2:00 a.m. Definitely recommend this hotel and would stay there again.

The staff were awesome. Our check in went very smoothly. Our room was comfortable and the decor was on theme for Route 66 nostalgia. The offered breakfast was basic with coffee, juice, toast, cereal and self-made waffles. Property felt safe with well lit area and cameras.

Nice Enough Motel

This place is nice for a roadside motel. It seems that the interior has been updated. Nice staff, everything was clean and the bed was comfortable. I don't know about the neighborhood but I didn't walk anywhere. It's basic but fine.

Rooms were very clean and beds were comfy we only stopped for a quick night of sleep before continuing a long drive. Staff was very nice. Parking was my only complaints in a big U-Haul wasn’t much large vehicle parking. Would stay again!

Not what we expected.

Very noisy street close by, it sounded like a race strip. Stayed 4 nights, no maid service which we were told when we checked in. Someone or an animal threw up on Friday second level walkway in front of a room entrance and it was still there when we left on Monday. Maids cleaning rooms that had been vacated should have seen and reported this. The trash dumpster gate was left open during day and it made area look trashy. Small parking lot. Ironing board needed a new cover, it kept pulling away from board when trying to iron. Check in person was very friendly. It is a motel.
