The room we stayed in was large and very clean. The bathroom similarly was spacious. We enjoyed touring the castle and viewing all of the historical artifacts located throughout the building.

Such a hidden gem!! It's a late 1800's in the lobby and modern amenities in the room. If I had time, I could spend hours wondering around the floors looking at all the artifacts in the halls! Rooms are cozy, modern, clean! If you are anywhere near Amsterdam NY and need a hotel - try this one out!

Unexpected gem - the family suite was perfect for meeting my family from CT halfway between our homes for the holidays, and the charm of this hotel was enough to entertain us the whole time. Will absolutely stay again!

Everything was clean and fresh. Nice staff, good mattress, big bathroom and tub. My only complaint is the pillows were all different, ranging from squishy soft to hard as a brick; it made me glad I brought my own.
