Extremely welcoming at the front desk on check-in. Room was spacious, cozy and comfortable. We were however right next to the elevator and door to the parking garage so it was a bit noisy at times. Location of the hotel is good and parking is convenient, and free. We’ll certainly be returning.

I recently stayed at the Waterfront Rooms at High Peaks Resort in Lake Placid, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was spotless, well-maintained, and had a beautiful view of the water. The resort’s location is perfect—right in the heart of Lake Placid and just a short drive to Whiteface Mountain, making it an excellent choice for both relaxation and adventure. A special shoutout to Rodrigo at the reception desk, who went above and beyond to accommodate us with an early check-in. His warm welcome and helpful attitude made a great first impression and set the tone for a wonderful stay. The staff overall were friendly and attentive, and the resort’s proximity to Main Street made it easy to explore local shops and restaurants. I highly recommend High Peaks Resort and look forward to visiting again!
