Room had good view of the River. However, the room had not been properly cleaned and I found urine stains around the toilet bowl and dirty cotton swabs laying on the window ledge. Also, the TV did not function, not that I was there to watch TV but I like turning on the TV to countries I visit so I have it in the background to get a taste of the tv culture. Overall, I’ll be back to Amsterdam but not the Ibis.

great stay at the Ibis Amsterdam

The room was clean and comfortable, staff were friendly and helpful, and the location is great, Right next to the train station in the city centre. They also have a locked luggage room if you are arriving early or leaving later in the day.

The location was near Amsterdam Centraal and convenient to get around, accessible to many places for eating, shopping. Hotel provided only towels shampoo and shower gel, and paper cups. No utensils not tissue papers. Iron board is in common area. No mineral water, but tap water is safe to drink so its ok. Two single beds placed side by side are too small for two and too big for one. Beds are quite old, mattresses were dented and soft. Price was rather expensive for the quality. Overall cleanliness is acceptable.

Excellent location - rooms super clean, beds comfortable - breakfast great choice however older lady managing the breakfast check in was rude argumentative and dismissive with something that was not our fault. Definitely shouldn’t be in a customer facing role if she can’t be nice - spoiled our stay.
