The staff were very polite and helpful. Unfortunately, the rest of the stay wasn’t as great. The rooms were extremely small, the bed was very uncomfortable and you could hear every noise from the room next door.

Good

It’s good for a solo trip. Very close to everything. The power went out for 5-6 hours one night and “no one was awake to help fix it”. Other than that is was a solid place to stay.

We arrived early but were able to check-in early without fuss as our room was ready. The room wasn't big but served our needs. We would have liked a kettle and tea/coffee options. The shower in the bathroom had no door due to the tiny space so it was difficult not to flood the bathroom floor. Great location, easy to access and friendly check-in.

Brought a stay here for my son and his girlfriend. They said the hotel was great. Brilliant location, 19 mins to everything and 15 to the to the airport from the station. Air con was brilliant. Window faced another building but the price reflected that and they were out and about all day. Not over noisey really great value for money

Great location moments from Dam Square. Luggage room available to store belongings before and after your stay which was appreciated Room was ok but a bit dated. Suited its purpose. Main downside was receptionist refusing to allow someone assisting with my bags to come up to my room - stating 'no guests allowed'. Very bizarre as i clearly explained this person wasnt staying but simply helping me. Have never encountered this in any other hotel i have stayed in. Not the most friendliest of welcome and the policy seems a bit ridiculous

Close to everything very central, the gentleman on the front desk was lovely, only downside was it was quite noisy outside and cleaners in the corridors on a morning, but wouldn’t expect quietness in the centre of Amsterdam. Deffo recommend for a short stay.
