Home away from home

Allowing pets was a huge plus for me! The breakfast options were basic hotel breakfast options, but they had TURKEY bacon and the brand that I LOVE!!! That was icing on the cake!!!! Great facility! Quiet and clean! Very accommodating and comfortable! I am a local and needed a place to stay while my new residence was being completed. Now, when I need to escape hectic home life, I know where to go.

We had an unexpected situation where our Airbnb flooded, and we arrived at the Hyatt Place around 12:30 AM — exhausted and stressed. From the moment we walked in, the staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care of. They were kind, professional, and incredibly accommodating during a very difficult night. Everyone we interacted with made us feel like valued guests, not just customers. Their service truly made all the difference, and we’re so grateful. The property is located in a nature surrounded area= nice and quiet. What I did not like is we have to pay for parking. In Expedia, we were told there is $12 parking, which is already hard to swallow (when hotel parking are almost always free except for Vegas as far as I know) but when I checked my credit card statement, it even increased to $13!

I chose this property because of the reviews. Well the reviews must have been paid for because it was nothing like they said. Rooms were very outdated, didn't feel clean, faucets shook and the door to the bathroom touched the toilet and it was very hard to move around. The staff was not friendly, breakfast was sparse and you could tell the person heating up the breakfast didn't want to be there.

Great place, great stay

Our stay was great! We didn’t have any issues. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially with the additional parking fee ($12 a night). The room itself was spacious and very clean. The bathroom itself was rather small but that wasn’t an issue for us. The beds were comfortable, though the pillows were really flat so bring your own if you like more sturdier pillows. The free breakfast was great! The pool was nice but there were no towels so again bring your own or ask for them at the front desk before you head out. We did have issues with people smoking weed in the pool area which I guess is legal here (it isn’t where we are from) and I wasn’t happy about it being around my kids, but I guess that’s more of a personal issue than a property problem. Overall I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it!

Disappointing

We've stayed at the Hyatt - Norcross/Peachtree on multiple occasions when visiting family in the area. Only one elevator was working the entire weekend. Our room was outdated and a little musty - the carpet in front of the bathroom door was frayed and torn. It was clean, but rundown - this hotel needs some upkeep. Breakfast has gotten worse - and gone are the "real" dishes, cutlery and mugs, replaced by picnic ware. Finally, while I resent having an additional charge for parking, I resented even more a front desk attendant clearly wanted us to scan the QR code (data collection!) rather than add the charge to our stay, as has been done in the past. Very unfriendly. We're finding somewhere else to stay
