Worst experience ever

First off. The manager or owner at the front desk wouldn’t turn on the A/C in the lobby and it was above 80 degrees. The elevator was broken. Cops swarmed the hotel in the middle of the night because of the guests shot off an automatic weapon. The maid argued about changing the sheets, she claimed they were clean. Homeless people slept outside the lobby doors. Worst experience ever

Horrible Experience

The elevator was always broken, the room didn’t have a trash can, there was no coffee. There were people that lived there who started fights and had the police come to the hotel. Men came with guns. Overall it was a horrible experience. The website advertised food, there was nothing.

Horrible stay…. This place is GHETTO…. A bunch of dope heads stay there. The hotel lobby and elevator was trashy. The room was horrible. Towels and sheets were not clean at all. The hall ways had garbage throw out the hotel. They don’t disclose that this hotel is housing people. The carpet is nasty. The service from the people is horrible…. Been trying to call and get in contact with a manager for 2 days haven’t received a call back and they keep hanging up on me.

This place needs to shut down and start over. The 6th floor smelled like rotten garbage. Only one elevator. The towels not cleaned. Overall disgusting. The staffing was unpleasant at times. Will definitely NOT recommend anyone to stay at this hotel. I will not be returning as well.

Unfortunately I should’ve read the reviews prior to booking, but honestly you pay for what you get. I was a bit disappointed in the service. Firstly, upon arrive I received the wrong room key to a room that wasn’t ready, then as my stay continued I was told every three days the room attendees will clean. No one showed up to my room until I inquired when they would clean this was about Day 5 out of my 7 day stay. One day throughout the week.. it seemed like a guest had a happy night.. they puked all over the elevator and the 5th floor.. the puke wasn’t cleaned until two days later.. towels were thrown over it .. just a mess. The assertiveness to things were just way too slow. From cleaning the rooms, to the halls and just to the guest. Not to mention, they have no microwaves in the rooms, there’s a whole breakfast area but no continental breakfast “due to new management”, the sink in my room had a leakage… Had to purchase a lot of cleaning items for the room and for the smell… everything was just confusing and disappointing. I personally wouldn’t book again. My stay wasn’t pleasant. I took a lot of images re my stay . Im giving it a 2 star only because the first host at booking was really pleasant. Overall my experience was not great.

I normally stay at Marriott properties but I have to say, this particular Sonesta property is equal to any Marriott property that I have ever stayed at. The bed was big and comfy, the tv channel selection was awesome, and the cost per night was good.

The room was great and clean. Very friendly clerks. The smell was not fresh at all but the room smelled good. One BAD things bout this place was too many homeless people on the property and in parking lot and sleeping there at night.. Don't think id stay again because I'd be coming in out late nights.

The property is not up to taste . The property manager both lady and guy have poor customer service . The lady threatened to call police on me if I did not come downstair to make a payment . She overcharged me . I will never recommend the unit for anyone .
