As nice as the hotel is, the rooms are just very average at best. Not very large, not great beds, the bathroom was super poorly planned out wasting a ton of space that could have great improved it. This hotel focused on common areas being useful for convention type guests I’m sure. So, unless you are staying there for a convention, I would give this property an average rating. Maybe 3 out of 5. If you’re at a convention it’d be a 4 but just for proximity and usability for very large groups

The fairmont pricing would be ok if the experience was a 10/10, but when you have a dirty hot tub, and broken pavers all over the pool deck, and you bought the room because the pool deck and the tub existed and the tub drain is broken…. Suddenly $14 wifi, and $50 parking and no continental breakfast make zero sense. I stayed in a similarly outfitted suite in the la quinta San Antonio on this trip and I had free parking free wifi, and my two person whirlpool tub drained for 1/4 the price. You get the feeling at Fairmont you are at a Gypsy grifter hotel run by extortionists at that point. I would rate the experience 5/10 at best given the dysfunctional amenities.

Wet carpet around the bed. Called and noted. No one ever addressed. Wet feet is not Fairmont way. Bellman never brought min fridge. Exercise equipment broken. Honestly shocked at the quality of service. Not Fairmont way sadly.
