Book Austwick hotels

There was nothing fundamentally wrong with the stay, but the room I believed I was booking was certainly mis-represented. The description states that each room is individually decorated and individually furnished, yet the walls in our ‘deluxe’ room (one up from ‘standard’) were all plain cream, 1 picture hung, no bedside cabinets, just small metal shelves……just not very enticing, which is very different from all the photos on the listing, even the ‘standard’ rooms are shown to have boutique style wallpaper and furnishings…..which is why I booked. On checking out when I mentioned this, I was just advised….‘I’ll pass on to the manager’, nothing more. Just a bit disappointing, which was a shame.

We arrived at the hotel & a warm welcome. Everyone was friendly & accommodating. We were especially happy with there knowledge of gluten free foods. The food was in a word Fantastic & plenty choices! A lovely place to stay with a walkin shower & nice seated area to enjoy the sun. We will definitely recommend it to our family & friends. 😁 Happy customers. Well done! Freindly staff Clean comfortable bed Our room was not as clean as I would expect was not hoovered properly and a dirty spoon like dried up yogurt or something on it . Could do with hand towels as well as bath towels

This is a very pleasant hotel, ideally situated for those arriving in Skipton by train. It's virtually the first thing you see when leaving the station. It's a ten minute stroll into the town centre, past a former cotton mill, and there's an alternative route via the attractive canal towpath, easily accessible from the rear of the hotel. My room was a single, very comfortable with an en suite shower, with a Juliet balcony overlooking the canal. Breakfast was good and all staff were pleasant and attentive.I didn't use the restaurant but I'm sure that's a good option if you don't want to walk into town in the evening.

Clean room, very friendly reception desk.

Overall a nice hotel although showing signs a wear and could do with a little freshening up (doors, etc)
