As soon as we entered the property, we were early; our flight landed around 10 am, arrived at the hotel around 11 am, and we were expecting only to check in, leave our luggage with the hotel, and come back at 3 pm to pick up the room keys, but, we were told it cost 2 Euros to store luggage in the lockers. Because check-in is at 3 pm, but there are so few lockers that they are in short supply. And on top of that, the hotel told us they couldn't exchange dollars to Euros so we can pay for the lockers, nor did they offer to charge the locker rental fee to our room, we were advised to walk down the street with our luggage, to the Western Union to exchange dollars to Euros and then walk back, so, before we did anything, we were already stressed. *There was street construction on La Rambla, so it was not easy to walk around; imagine navigating with luggage in tow within a construction zone. We did not purchase Breakfast, so no comment on that.

Construction on La Rambla can get noisy due to construction and future guests should be advised. A coffee maker would have been nice. The towels were thin and no washcloths were provided.

Check in time is 15:00 but check out time is 12:00. This is very rare compared to any other hotels on earth. Check-in and checkout time should be the same, normally. Why does it take so long for this hotel to clean their rooms? Short of staff or staff just being lazy???

Other than the construction on the street, this hotel was great. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was a perfect fit for a week-long stay. The city-view balcony was cozy and offered a peek at the hustle and bustle just outside!

Great location, right on La Rambla, very close to shopping, dining, tourist attractions. We walked everywhere, no need for a vehicle. The breakfast was delicious with lots of variety. Our room was small, but very nice and clean. We enjoyed our stay and would book again!

I flew from the US. Arrived between 6am-7am. Was concerned they would either canceled my reservation or made me pay ahead due to my arrival time (happened when I visited London). However, was far from the case. They were so accommodating and helpful, that alone is enough to stay there if I come back to Barcelona. I had a triple room since I came with my two grown sons. The room was spacious and comfortable

The service was very good as well as the cleaning for the room. Regarding the breakfast it should have more fresh fruits varieties. We didn’t have a balcony room.

The hotel itself is beautiful and clean. However, finding it behind all the construction was a challenge. It’s right on the strip of La Rambla and also next to a strip club. A lot of spots to eat, but I wouldn’t because it’s mid a lot of people approaching us for money. In the hotel itself was really nice very informative staff breakfast included was nice. I would only book again once the construction was done.

The hotel is fine. Breakfast and staff excellent. The big issue for the hotel at the moment is the roadworks being carried out on La Rambla. It starts early in the morning and goes on all day with mechanical diggers creating a lot of noise and dirt etc., totally spoiling La Rambla. It needs maintenance, I accept that, but we weren’t forewarned that this was happening. It’s the whole length of La Rambla and unfortunately is not SCHEDULED to be completed until early 2027.
