Lamaro Hotel is a beautiful hotel next to a 14th century cathedral. The roof top bar is a must in the evening and the staff was more than amazing.

We celebrated our 33rd Anniversary there with our kids. We received a chilled champagne in our room. There are Muslims and others who do not drink alcohol. We happen to be Muslims. Maybe a cake would've been better. Or ask?

The rooms were expected to be ready by 3:00. However, of our 4 rooms, one was not ready until after 4:00. Not a big deal usually except we had been traveling overseas and were needing to get some rest. The doorman was very friendly and helpful with information about the area. Staff was very pleasant.

Excellent property that has recently been renovated. Staff are plentiful in the entry & reception areas and are all very accommodating & helpful, actively seeking to help. The location over looks the cathedral & from both ground level & roof top bar the view is beautiful. No negatives for this visit and would recommend to others.

The staff are superior to the best 5star hotels. From simple checkin and exquisite accommodations in family room overlooking cathedral square, to the gourmet breakfast included the experience was ideal. When visiting g Barcelona, either with family, on business, or by myself, this is the only place in Barcelona that I will be able to stay in the future. They spoiled us!!! Even with breakfast boxes when we had to catch early flights back to The States. Honestly, location, staff and accommodations are exceptional.
