Property is in a good location for the metro, just a few minutes walk away, and there are side streets with nice bars and cafes all around, with a main road also close by.
First, criticisms: I emailed before visiting to check they had an iron and irnoning board I could use when I got there; they replied saying, of course we do! (I've visited hotels in Spain before where they have not had an iron; yes, really) However, when the iron arrived at my room it had a sticker on saying DO NOT USE WATER. So a team iron, with no steam, ironing creased cotton shirts. Not a great outcome, and for what - the price of someone going out and buying a new steam iron. That's a bit cheap, folks.
Also - and this is maybe a UK thing - but two single beds pushed together is not a double bed. It's two single beds, pushed together. And it they're both made up as single beds, they're DEFINITELY single beds, pushed together.
However, the hotel's greatest strength was the staff I interacted with. Not the daytime staff, hardly had any occasion to speak with them, but the duo on in the evening wer really excellent - helpful, thoughtful, welcoming and kind. With staff like these, I'll forgive the beds and iron and give you a five-star rating.
