The staff make this hotel enjoyable. They are friendly, kind and helpful. I hope management pays them well because without their friendliness, I would rank this property lower. Generally, the property could use a refresh. My room was dark and the furnishings were old and chipped. The curtains should have been replaced years ago. The landscaping and pool areas are lovely, though, good job there. The breakfast is plentiful.

The rooms were nice and quiet. The walk to the beach is quick and the food selections was good. The only problems I had was the treatment from the staff. The staff treated me like I was not there by attending to other guest more. I went to lunch by the beach and the table was dirty and I asked to have one clean and I was told that after he finish cleaning the other tables he would clean mine.time went by and he forgot about my table, but if he wiped my table when I asked it would have been done. I had to ask a second time to someone else. The cleaning staff went unto my room early while I was at breakfast and said am I checking out, but I just checked in that night with a 2 day stay.

I was delighted with the accommodations. Everyone was friendly. The room was very affordable for such an extravagant place. I would definitely recommend it to anyone staying in the Gambia.

I have stayed at the Senegambia Beach Hotel many times before and it never disappoints. The staff all around the hotel are friendly and polite and can’t do enough to make your stay an enjoyable one. Jarra and Kemo at the beach pool are amazing guys who take care of everyone around the pool and are happy in their work. The breakfast is a various array of delicious food with egg and pancake chefs, you will not be disappointed! Can’t wait to return!

Great location and excellent landscaping. Rooms need general upgrade. Not even a bottle of drinking water was provided. It rained a lot diring our stay. They need to provide umbrellas between reception and rooms for guests.

On the beach, great food and beer, lovely staff. Very green and welcoming. Very spacious bathroom and luxurious. Clean like Switzerland and efficient as Germany, warm as Thailand and relaxed as African beach.

The hotel is still one of the best hotels in Gambia that can offer you a true feeling of Africa. Some of the rooms and yhw facilities needs urgent upgrade. My message to the management...you have a jewel in your hands....just take good care of it.

Great hotel

Beautiful tropical hotel with monkeys and vultures roaming the grounds. Rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. Service at Oasis pool bar was very slow during the day, sometimes due to understaffing and sometimes due to staff talking not working. All in a terrific hotel right on the beach with it's position on the Strip there are 30 bar/restaurants, 5 shops, 20 money exchangers and 6 ATMs within 10 minutes walk. Highly recommended.
