We booked two adjacent rooms for us and the children as an intermediate stop for our trip back home from Italy to NL. We arrived around 16:00 and we had some drinks on the terrasse. It has a beautiful view over the lake. Diner was also good. The pricing is probably normal for CH, but we paid around 315 Euro for a main course meal, two deserts, 4 Aperol spritz drinks, 3 bottles of water and 3 plates of olives/ bread. It’s still expensive compared to Italy of Netherlands. The outside temperate was 27 Celsius, and the rooms did not have climate control. So we hardly slept. It was too warm. The window was open, but then we had the noise from the road. So in conclusion: A nice place, but not perfect.

It was an amazing stay.. one of the best.. so serene n peaceful amidst the lush greenery, blue skies and turquoise lake.. rooms were comfortable... bed is comfortable.. room size is perfect... the place is lively.. transport are nearby.. I loved it.. wil come back again.. bfast didn't have many vegetarian options..

Great location. Right next to the lake. A 3 min walk to the bus stop that connects you to Stans, and there on, a train, to Luzern or Engleberg. Rooms are a little small, but tidy. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff. Definitely suggested, if you are.looking for a quiet and relaxed getaway.

First class hotel with Cordon Bleu chef. Buffet breakfast equals the finest. Only negative is that like all Swiss restaurants the cost is twice what you might expect

Great deal with magnificent lake view

The lake view from the window and restaurant is magnificent! The extra 30 mins drive paid off! Bed is comfy, the extra single bed for my 11 yo daughter is good size. Cleanliness is good enough to ease my OCD. Check in & out staffs were very friendly, only the room cleaning lady surprised us without knocking. Overall I must say it was a great deal with breakfast, parking plus the lake view. There is a little resting park just a minute drive on the right which is definitely worth some photos!

This is a wonderful hotel situated in a small town just off the motorway The room looking out at the lake was lovely. They provided a mat and a bowl for our dog which was a nice touch. Parking on site is easy the breakfast fabulous. All the staff are friendly and so helpful. Will definitely return if passing again, but would stay longer to see more of the area.
