Excellent stay! Good to know the history of the hotel and city. The location is a few blocks away from the Bourbon Trail, so plan ahead if want to go there.

The lobby is beautiful and rich in history. The rooms, however, are very old, worn down and somewhat grimy. Same with the exterior. This is not a luxury hotel despite the reputation and marketing. The only amenity in our room was an old plastic coffee maker with plastic cups. Our room was refreshed without emptying the wastebaskets. The TV looked like the cheapest flat screen you could buy. We had a window that did not close all the way, leaving a 1/2 inch gap. Do not recommend.

Brown was fun

Easy to chk in, easy to the room. Everything good except the hotel is getting a little tired. Many little things like paint and wear & tear not addressed. Enjoyed the stay with an ole girl but not her heyday anymore.
