We enjoyed our stay at the Shattuck. Everyone from the staff we dealt with was very nice and helpful. My only negative comment would be that it would have been nice to have some amenities in the room. For example, all the soap dispensers were affixed to the wall. It was difficult to take a bath as there was no bar soap and I had to keep standing up to pump soap and then sit down in the bath again. No cotton balls, q-tips or robes. No extra blanket in the closet. Thjese are things one would expect to find in a hotel like this.

Yes the clean room was so welcome after the long day of traveling, and the sparkling bathroom invited me to take a wonderful, relaxing soak. All the staff were very nice, and the restaurant was excellent. My son and I had 2 delicious appetizers, and another day I met the chef and told him the breakfast home fries were the best I’d ever had, and he told me one of the secrets. And I loved the chicken apple sausages! I would definitely stay here again!
