Low quality and underwhelming experience

The room was a good size. However, the overall room experience was very low quality. Not clean or everything in poor condition with stains on furniture, lamps with tears, sheets with holes, filthy handprints on surfaces and just not a clean feeling. Bed linens were thin and cheap. Bathroom door wouldn’t lock or shut. Shower curtain wouldn’t close all the way, so water inevitably got everywhere on the floor. Silverware in the drawers was grimy and needed to be washed. Pull out bed was extremely uncomfortable and low quality and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a while. Just a overall yucky feeling to the room. The parking garage gate wouldn’t close. Luckily they didn’t charge us for that. Breakfast was okay, but missing water and restocks on items.

The staff was very nice and accommodating. The property was well maintained. Our suite was clean however one of the window blinds was broken in the bedroom. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The living room area was poorly lit but couch was comfortable. Nice kitchen setup. My main complaint is the walls are not well insulated and we could clearly hear people on both sides of us including a young group of Prom celebrants at midnigh which made sleep difficult. I did call downstairs but no one answered. I did address it with the manager the next day. We would most likely not stay here again because of the location area and not feelings safe to walk after dark.

Overall, this experience was not enjoyable or comfortable for a hotel experience. The property checked someone else in as me prior to my arrival and gave them the room assigned to me. Upon my arrival, they just gave me a room key and my husband and I walked into someone else's room with their belongings all inside. (This could have been a VERY BAD situation if someone was in the room.) We had to go back to the desk and inform them of the issue, which at first no one took ownership of what happened (we kept being told that I prechecked in, which I did not do). One of the staff members worked really hard to identify what happened and how she could rectify the issue. Thank you to that young lady for all that you did! It was truly appreciated. After being assigned a new room, we saw the sofa in the room was dirty, it was an ajoining room (which we did not like), the linens were hard, the bed felt like a cement brick (VERY UNCOMFORTABLE), the pillows were so soft (they immediately flattened when you pressed on them; they held no shape), and the walls to the hallway are very thin (we could hear all the kids and conversations in the hallway). Overall, this experience caused us frustration and physical discomfort/pain from sleeping on hard, uncomfortable surfaces.

Make sure you get what you reserve.

I reserved a room with two beds. When we got to the room there was one bed and a pullout couch. The couch bed was too short for my 6ft Grandson and uncomfortable. Won’t go back since I didn’t get what I reserved.

While the staff was excellent, the hotel could use a lot of maintenance attention. Using my 5G LTE was 5 times faster than the hotel's WiFi, the tub stopper would not work, I had to use a bathcloth wrapped around it, the shade on the floor lamp next to the couch would fall off since it was missing its anchor nut. The AC unit in the bedroom was very noisy when the compressor came on. And the worst was how uncomfortable the bed was. I know these things are small things, except the bed and the AC noise, but it did make our stay unpleasent.

Very secure, nice, well appointed rooms. Check in was challenging, the person who assisted us was fine but not terribly helpful. This is a confusing place (access to the secure parking lot and access to hotel once you've self parked) and the person who checked us in could have done a much better job directing us.

The service was great and everyone was friendly. The room was in good condition but not as new as expected. They claimed the room had an oven, but it didn't. So we packed food that we couldn't properly cook. The honors app didn't work on our room door. The pool was horrible. It was indoor, but unheated. The water was so foggy that we couldn't see to the bottom. This isn't a deep pool. 5ft max. It was foggy in the 3ft area. A big clump of hair floating in it. We told the front desk and the next day it was draining. When it was filled up again it was still foggy and unheated. This stay was not bad, but not as good as I had expected.

The desk staff were excellent. A very convenient location. The hotel itself is showing a lack of proper maintenance. The only chair was uncomfortable. The tub stopper didn’t work. The shade on the floor lamp next to the couch was missing its holder. No bath mat. No regular coffee in the room. Tilt for the TV would have helped for viewing. A very noisy refrigerator. The bed was only comfortable on one side.
