Everything was beautiful, beyond our expectations (beach, hotel, resort, services, transportation, ocean, pool, ). The only thing that surprised us was the high service charges & government taxes added to every meal/drink at the restaurants, so be sure to book your hotel stay as "all inclusive " (if there is an option). And if you are leaving the Punta Cana airport on weekend, make sure to be at the airport AT LEAST 3 hours prior to your departure!!!! Enormous lines and no air conditioning at the airport were exhausting!!!

The room service was over priced for and could not get our order right. Burger, club sandwich, fruit tray, ice cream. $90.24 - the fruit tray was never delivered, the ice cream arrived as a melted bowl of chocolate milk. Called to ask about the fruit tray and was placed on hold 3 different times. They deliver guy instructed us to call about the fruit tray and said he was sorry about the ice cream. When finally getting through to someone about the fruit tray they said they could not make out what I was saying because of the static on the call. The phones in the rooms are cheap wireless phones. Other than this issue the property is beautiful.

The best time in punta Cana

Front desk doesn’t give you information like the restaurant hours and where are they located. We ask for the steak house reservations and when we came to the lobby the guy told us oh they are not open today sorry. Staff is nice they greeted you . We were staying here for 3 days 2 of us in those 3 days we got only 2 toilet papers .The time for check out was at 11 . We went out to have breakfast but went we came back to start get ready to check out our keys were not working and it was 9 am .

It was very comfortable but secluded. There is nothing to do nearby. They do offer shuttle service to one of their sisters hotels which have other restaurants but that’s about it. Unfortunately it had sargassum on the beach, which it was disappointing. Hotel restaurants were overpriced and had ok food.

We had a wonderful stay at the Westin Punta Cana. The service was exceptional, the beach was beautiful, and the golf facilities were outstanding. The resort is also conveniently located just a few minutes from the airport. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
