our party had 3 rooms. The front desk staff and the maintenance people were very nice. The hotel itself was very run down. We had to change rooms because we had no hot water in our first room. The shower in our second room had very slow drainage and when the maintenance man came to check it out said it was because the pipes were old and needed to be replaced and it was too costly to fix. We had to keep requesting more towels because the room only came with one set and when I went to the front desk to get more towels, they told me to come back because they didn't have any more. The mattress in our second room had large indentations in it and it sounded like there was an all-night bowling alley in the room above ours. when that noise stopped it sounded like people were stomping across the floor and yelling-all night long. All of the rugs had what appeared to be bleach stains in the hallways. One of our other rooms had slow water in the shower and mold in the shower and on the ceiling in the bathroom. I have stayed in this hotel a few times and that is why I chose to go back. I will never be going back again. The breakfast was terrible (hardly anything). I actually asked the front desk what kind of a hotel it was. the people in the dining room looked like junkies and crack addicts. Not sure what else was going on a bunch of people looked like they lived there. worst stay ever.

I have been a business traveler for over 40 years and have stayed in a lot of different hotels and motels. I can put up with almost anything except a cold shower, and a cold shower is what I got this morning in this hotel. I went to the front desk and was hoping for some kind of a discount or some kind of reimbursement, but I got nothing. I will not be going back to this hotel.

worst hotel stay in my life

abhorrent living condition electronic lock barely worked black mold issues burns and stained and discolored mattress filthy outlet Bathroom door didn't close. missing calking in the shower. not able to shower due to mold and water intrusion issues wall paper falling down found a broken glass crack pipe next to my door (sorry no pic) told front desk and thay cleaned it pretty quickly broken and falling out cover plates holes in wall rust on metal door frames. ripped and tattered couch lots of dog poop out side its seemingly a halfway house. many displaced peoples live here the nastiest shower head ever i didn't feel safe at all the food was barely edible i hope i didn't get scabies....

I have stayed here before and the room was good during that stay. However this time the room was nasty. These were the issues: Carpet completely worn out and ripped in several large areas, curtains torn, both chairs with stain marks, room smelled. Also, only one bath towel and one hand towel for two people. So quite disappointed. It appears it's pot luck on if you get a decent room or if you get a ghetto room. Getting a decent room is not something I want to gamble on, so this was most likely my last stay at the LaQuinta.
