Celebrated my son’s 18th birthday here. They were so kind from the minute we stepped on property. Room was clean, quiet& cool view of the canal. Being beachfront was a huge selling point for everyone in my family. There is nothing better than having breakfast with a view of the ocean welcoming you to the day.

I love that I know what to expect when I stay at a Tru and have started deliberately choosing them when I can. Great value, updated amenities, great breakfast. My son loves the hot chocolate in the lobby and the pancake “robot” at breakfast. I love that we can easily log into Netflix or Disney+ from the TV. Comfortable beds, spacious bathroom, very friendly staff.

Super clean facility. Ice machine on 5th floor not functioning. The area is a bit concerning.

Friends and family meetup. Our stay was 5 stars all around. The hotel was clean! Lobby, rooms, bathroom, dining area. Clean and inviting!

The hotel was super easy to find, check-in was easy and parking was right there on location. We were just a bit disappointed because of all the work going on in the area. We thought we'd be able to walk south along the Riverwalk to the Live Oak Pavilion but weren't able to due to construction. No biggie, we're still planning to come back for a longer visit. The hotel is close to shopping and the spot was super convenient and hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Great location, took a quick trip over to Wrightsville Beach and checked out UNCW while we were there too. Loved the bagel joint across the street and the beautiful sunsets each night, would definitely recommend this place!
