Overall, our stay was as expected and comfortable. The location was well suited for the places we wanted to visit and friends in the area were nearby as well. We stayed for one week with the warmer weather at the start of our stay and much cooler temperatures as the week went on. That being said, we weren’t able to use the pool as much as we had planned to but we did appreciate the lanai and sat outside frequently. We did experience a snag during our stay the first full day of our trip. Landscapers were to arrive at 8am on Saturday to trim the mango tree, which we were okay with as the lanai would be available. We left for breakfast, enjoyed a beach walk and a quick trip to the grocery store before heading back to the house at 12 noon. The landscapers were still there trimming the tree and then began to work on the hedge next to the lanai. Their equipment was loud and disruptive to our enjoyment of the pool and lanai area. So we waited until it was completed about an hour later. We grabbed some drinks to sit outside and the landscapers came into the lanai and sat down at the table to eat their lunch. At first, we thought they were just washing their hands, but they said they’d be done in 30 minutes and be on their way. I messaged both Roger and Eillen without much solution to the problem. This was disappointing and affected the overall experience of our stay. I hope in the future, scheduled maintenance doesn’t interfere with a paying customers visit.
