Your website stated restaurant on site, but itger than free breajfast dining, tgere was none. No food or drinks at night. Also, you advertise HD tv and it was NOT. Terrible viewing.

Wonderful!

Our stay was amazing ! Room was big and clean. They provided us chips and water upon stay . In the morning me and my family had a great breakfast and had access to the gym. Excellent stay !!!

No Thank you!

I have never felt pushed out of a hotel during a trip before this. We child and I left a day early due to the horrendous attitude the front desk staff gave to me. From the moment I checked in, there were issues. That’s fine, not everything is always smooth. I paid hotels.com for three nights and when I checked into the hotel they only had me down for two nights. No problem, I contacted hotels.com and they reimbursed me for the third night. So the first day of my trip I went back to the lobby and reserved a third night directly through them. The second evening of my trip, my child wanted to get an ice cream from the hotel convenience shop. I went to the front desk to charge it to my room. The very nice gentleman not only took care of that for us, he also asked me if I would like to refresh my cards for the next and final night of my trip. That was very helpful, thank you. After he refreshed my cards I asked him if we were all set for our last night and double checked that we could stay in the same room that we had, given that we had to get an extra night through them on my first night. He assured me that we were all set. The next morning, a little after 11am the housekeeping manager came to my door to ask me if I wanted to get a late check out. I told him we were staying an extra day and didn’t need housekeeping. Five minutes later, the rudest woman called my room and demanded that I come down to the lobby and pay for another night. I was flabbergasted and had enough, we left.

Third time back!

I didn’t realize I booked a hearing accessible room. They called to ensure that’s what was needed and if not asked if I could switch rooms which I happily did! They didn’t up charge for it and were always kind. This is my third stay here during my visits and I wouldn’t want to go anywhere else!

The heater in our room was pretty loud it kept clicking to turn on in the middle of the night. It only did this while we were already in bed Otherwise we would have asked for another room.

If you have a common name, be aware

The hotel itself was very clean and modern. The location was convenient and close to all major attractions in Salem which made it easy to walk. The staff were very nice and tried their best to be helpful, but someone had a similar name who was scheduled to check in the same evening. When I was an hour and a half out, I received an alert that I had checked in. When I got to the hotel, the valet asked if I had checked in already in a seperate vehicle. When I got to the front desk, they asked for my ID and charged me for my stay. The amount was incorrect compared to when I booked so I questioned it. Turns out they had checked in the guest with the similar name under my reservation and were charging me for her amount. We, I thought got it squared away and was given keys to a room, which required me having to go back and forth from the desk and room five times before finding out the room number written wasn’t the room I was supposed to be in. Once that was corrected I again went up to my room to walk into a room that was already occupied by the person they checked in under my reservation. I again went back down and re figured out the mix up. Mind you the desk was extremely helpful during all of this. The next day I reconfirmed we still had our room for another night and was assured we did. When I went to leave, my $310 charge was now over $700. They charged me for BOTH rooms. Again, they were very helpful and it was resolved. Just keep an eye on your charges when staying here.

This place is conveniently located in downtown with lots of good restaurants within walking distance but, that's the best thing I can say about it. The room was in a bit of disrepair, the coffee in the lobby was cold on two different occasions, and the walls must be paper thin because we heard every argument and sex noise from the room next door! Might be back if the price is right, but definitely not at the price we paid for this particular stay!
