While I enjoy The Hampton Inn, this property was very close to a major thoroughfare and there was traffic into the early morning hours that I could hear through the window.

The property is within walking distance of everything in Salem. Only the lighthouse is a little far. Very clean. Rooms good enough. Need were not comfortable but we were so tired from walking all day we slept ok. Breakfast was included and had a good variety and plenty of seating. Parking was indoors and $27 a day. Spots seemed small so a truck could be tough to park. Front desk were super friendly. Didn't use pool. Gym was good for a nice morning workout. Highly recommend

This sits on the southern end of the downtown tourist area of Salem. It allows you to easily walk all the way to the North end of town and back so you can capture moments at every spot Salem has to offer. Perfect for a weekend getaway!

When I originally looked at the map I thought this was further, everything is the next street over. Also it is one of the only dog friendly hotels in the area. My son loved the pool too.

Door key card reader was not working properly, had to be let into our room MULTIPLE times. To which our ID was NEVER checked ONCE! (Who knows who they would let in!) House keeping - very lacking! They came in once and took out the trash and replaced the towels but that was literally it! Beds were unmade and soap and such was not replenished. In fact, we were totally out of conditioner! The room was not vacuumed even once. The dispensary near the hotel was awful- it smelled so bad!!!! The deliveries and other large vehicle deliveries were at 5 AM and so loud!!!! The window shades both sun and blackout were difficult to operate.

There’s no bathroom ventilation and on top of that the barn door they have on the bathroom has a gigantic gap between the door and wall. There might as well not be a door there. It was a fun time smelling everyone’s dumps all weekend in the hallway. The proximity to the dispensary made this a sketchy location as well.
