I saw it was in beacon hill and thought it would be a nice area but it’s not. Also there was major construction across the street which added to the noise, traffic, poor experience in general. In the hotel the bathroom was moldy/mildewy. The toilet seat was barely attached. The mattresses were so uncomfortable. I could feel every spring. The fridge didn’t work. The woman at the front desk was rude. I tried to ask her a question when we first arrived and she held up her hand to tell me to be quiet. I would have been happy to wait patiently if she told me she was in the middle of something. Overall, strongly would not recommend.

The location was great for tourists. The breakfast was terrific. The valet parking was expensive ($69/day!) The fitness center was substandard for that size of a hotel. The pool was closed. Our room was right across from a building under construction and the early morning noise was ridiculous.

First of four elevators best was two working and at worst one working. We were staying on the 7th floor. This made getting around a challenge. (There were no stairs.) This place really needs some updating compared to other Wyndham properties I have stayed at. Now the real problem we arrived at the hotel before check-in time. We checked two bags with the bell service. We arrived early evening to pick-up our bags. Upon arriving in our room I noticed the pullup handle on my bag was cracked and poorly repaired with clear tape. Upon calling these to the attention of the hotel staff, it became more important to find out who the bellman on duty was. Rather then addressing the problem with me. This went on for three days On the fourth day, the day we were leaving the manager of the hotel addressed the problem.

The hotel was fine and had a restaurant with limited dining options. The staff were friendly for the most part. I didn't like that it was so far from historic attractions. If I had to go to Boston again, I would book a hotel that was closer to downtown.

Close to all the things Boston has to offer. There is construction across the street so that got a bit loud at times. It's a big city so we were expecting noise.

This hotel needs serious maintenance. The room has stains all over the walls, the carpet has stains the bathroom shower was very dirty the bed is broken.. this is the last time I stay here.. pretty sad because I’ve been here before and it’s def gone down hill.

Didn't feel clean from the carpets to the rooms. I found hair in the bathroom, globs of it behind the garbage can and on the floor. The bathroom floor was sticky and obviously not cleaned.

Adequate for hospital business.

Our stay was convenient to Hospital Check in and greeting at Valet were just average. The fact that there was construction across the street was not great, but no control by hotel. The TV selection was poor, no Guide to see what was on without scrolling, no available movies. The room was clean enough, just not special. The toilet was ridiculous, 4-5 flushes for a piece of paper. Drain in shower was not great. Hand rail in shower was a plus. The pool steps are not in a good height and the pool obviously needs a redo very soon. Not great in great shape. Staff was average. Restaurant was over priced.

I have stayed here several times due to family member hospitalized at MGH, and for subsequent follow up appointments with specialists. Easy parking, easy walk to hospital. Plenty of food options nearby. Hotel has awesome breakfast, which I treated myself to often! There is construction noise, but this will make a big improvement for MGH, so I don’t want to take off any points for that. Happy to deal with it, in the name of better care for the future. Will definitely stay again, and again!
