Clean room and sheets, quiet room, ok breakfast, staff friendly.

Nested in a quiet location, close the Wallace castle, this hotel is well accommodated by the comfort and clean room, with parking and restaurant.

The rooms were large, the bed was comfortable. The furnishings and carpet needed replacing

Lovely stay. Clean, tidy and good location.

I knew this would be a basic room in a "budget hotel". I just needed somewhere close to Edinburgh Airport for a morning flight. I just did not think it could be so basic. On arrival the reception lobby and hallways reeked of smoke. The room was old and very verytired, a bit like me. However, one power socket, ( no USB), one light for the whole room, one plastic chair, one chap hook for a towel and one shabby broken bedside cabinet... Not so pleasant.. On the plus, side, the beddings were clean and fresh..

From the very unhelpful reception to the worn out beds and sticky taped remote control, would not be my choice again. Having to push for service in the restaurant and seemed like everything was just too much for them. Very unhelpful. Maintenance guy was great and more helpful than everyone else.
